As a family we decided to reduce our waste. We began with small changes – not buying packaged fruit and vegetables, using a basket or bag with our organic cotton produce bags then using the bags at home where the fruit and vegetables lasted longer being stored in our bags.
We looked at our cupboard staples with the amount of plastic on these products which is not biodegradable or recyclable and decided to buy in bulk and redistribute pantry food by using food-grade paper and cellulose bags as well as being able to purchase only what you need which made even more sense not contributing to food waste as well as the plastic plague.
Why choose organic? It’s better for you and the planet. Those involved in organic farming are treated fairly, and there are strict guidelines, which in turn support farmers.
We do have a choice of non organic refill options as well. We are here to help you find ways of not using plastic in your every day and lessen your recycling. By buying locally within your area you are supporting local businesses and keeping your carbon footprint to a minimum.
