Organic Breakfast Porridge
As Autumn Fall season begins changing our world to oranges, reds, yellows and a little green we begin our mornings with Pinhead Oats. My Dad is Scottish and introduced us to these oats when we were children, and as autumn rolls in, the oats come out… comfort food with the energy for the day.
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 3 cups of water
- Pinch of kosher salt
Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and stir together. Bring the oats to a simmer and cook for 23 to 27 minutes depending on the consistency you would like.
Serve in a porridge bowl adding sugar, maple syrup or whatever your heart desires. Enjoy x
